This is a varied role offering a mix of strategic sourcing, supplier management and operational buying responsibilities.The role:As Buyer, you'll take ownership of purchasing activities across a range of categories, working closely with colleagues in production, engineering and supply chain. You'll develop supplier relationships, negotiate pricing and contracts and play a key part in driving cost savings and continuous improvement.This position offers autonomy and visibility across the business, providing the chance to contribute to both day-to-day purchasing and longer-term sourcing initiatives.Key responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end purchasing of materials, components and services to support manufacturing operations
• Source and onboard new suppliers to enhance the supply base and support product development
• Negotiate commercial agreements and contract terms with both established and prospective suppliers
• Build strong supplier partnerships to ensure quality, reliability and value
• Conduct regular cost analysis and market benchmarking to identify savings opportunities
• Monitor purchasing KPIs including PPV and supplier performance metrics
• Collaborate with internal teams to align buying activities with project timelines and business objectives
• Contribute to process improvements and help shape the future of the purchasing function
