Salary: £30-35K OTE

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Buyer to become an integral part of their dynamic UK Head Office team!

Responsibilities:As a Buyer, your role will be pivotal in ensuring smooth operations. Daily duties will include:

• Researching and liaising with potential vendors
• Comparing pricing from various sources
• Negotiating prices and terms of business
• Preparing quotations for customers
• Placing and managing purchase orders
• Tracking orders to meet customer delivery dates
• Coordinating with the warehouse and logistics teams
• Managing supplier and customer relationships
• General customer service duties

Essential (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):

• Previous experience in a purchasing or logistics role
• Strong telephone and communication skills
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers and customers
• A motivated and detail-focused mindset
• Own transport required for travel to the workplace
• Desirable (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):
• Experience in international trade and MRO purchasing
• Technical knowledge related to the industry
• Proficiency in foreign languages (German, Italian, or Arabic preferred)

Technologies:Familiarity with procurement software and customer relationship management (CRM) tools is a plus.
