Role Overview
As Buy-Out Services Manager, you’ll be pivotal in driving pension schemes through their buy-out journey. You’ll manage a high-performing team, oversee data cleanse activities, support scheme transitions, and deliver process improvements to enable buy-out operations to scale. This is a key role for someone looking to make a real impact in the DB de-risking market.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the buy-out team, fostering a positive, high-performing culture.
- Oversee project management of all buy-out data cleanse activities, ensuring deadlines are met.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to resolve buy-out-specific issues.
- Support Transition Relationship Managers in preparing data for policies, payroll, and legal frameworks.
- Provide technical guidance on buy-out activities and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and enhance member experience.
Skills and Experienced Required
- At least 5 years’ experience in pensions, ideally in DB de-risking.
- Experience working with Trustees and employers on scheme transitions.
- Proven team leadership skills and experience driving positive change.
- Strong understanding of DB de-risking administration and the wider pensions market.
