Job Description :

What sets this client apart isn’t just their rapid rise or the awards lining their shelves — it’s their refusal to do business as usual. They’ve built a progressive practice where culture and purpose are as important as numbers and spreadsheets. With B Corp™ credentials and recognition as the UK’s No.1 Accountancy Firm to Work For, they prove that growth and integrity can go hand in hand.

About the Firm

This is a business that calls itself the "rebels of accountancy" — straight-talking, innovative, and people-led. They’ve created a workplace where personality and individuality are celebrated, where jargon is stripped away, and where staff and clients alike feel supported and inspired.

With a clear purpose of creating brighter futures for their clients, people, and communities, they continue to win awards for culture, wellbeing, inclusion, and employee experience.

By joining, you’ll not only gain exposure to a diverse portfolio spanning financial services, property, media, technology, and not-for-profit, but also to fast-paced emerging industries such as crypto and digital assets, international expansion work, and high-stakes regulated audits. It’s a chance to future-proof your career while being part of a firm that truly does things differently.

The Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity for a Business Tax Manager to take ownership of a portfolio of corporate tax clients while contributing to wider advisory projects. The role combines compliance and advisory work, providing real variety and exposure to large corporates, international groups, AIM-listed entities, private equity-backed businesses, and FCA-regulated firms.

You’ll act as a key point of contact for your clients, delivering a "wow" experience that cuts through jargon and builds long-term relationships. Alongside client management, you’ll mentor junior staff, collaborate with other departments, and play a role in the continued growth and innovation of the tax team.

What makes this opportunity unique is the chance to work alongside specialists in high-growth and emerging sectors such as crypto, bitcoin, and digital assets. You’ll also gain exposure to complex cross-border projects, including supporting UK businesses expanding internationally and US corporates investing into the UK and EU. This breadth of work ensures you’ll develop a well-rounded portfolio while also building expertise in cutting-edge markets.

  • Spot opportunities for additional services and new business leads

  • Coach and support junior team members, contributing to their technical development

  • Contribute to the improvement of processes and ways of working within the tax function
