- Working Pattern: Initially office-based (6 weeks), then hybrid (3 days office / 2 days home)
We are currently recruiting for two vital administrative roles within our Children’s Services teams. These positions offer the opportunity to support either the Adoption & Fostering Service or the Integrated Front Door team, both of which play a crucial role in supporting children and families across the borough.
1. Administration/Minute Taker
Key Responsibilities:
- Take and transcribe accurate minutes during meetings.
- Conduct medical and statutory checks for prospective foster carers and adopters.
- Provide general administrative support to ensure smooth service delivery.
Ideal Candidate:
- Experienced in administration and minute-taking.
- Detail-oriented with excellent transcription and communication skills.
- Able to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
2. Administration Support
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer and direct phone calls to appropriate team members.
- Monitor and manage multiple email inboxes.
- Perform a range of business support tasks to aid daily operations.
Ideal Candidate:
- Experienced in administrative support roles.
- Organised, with strong multitasking and communication skills.
- Proficient in using office technology and managing communications
