Business Support Officer
- Job Type: Full-time, temp contract, hybrid 3 days in the office

- Salary: £13.26 PAYE per hour (Umbrella rate available too)
We are seeking a Business Support Officer to join our team, providing an effective business support service to front-line and statutory services within children's social care.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Provide an efficient and confidential business support service to front-line and statutory services.
- Handle telephone, offering advice, guidance, signposting, and support to both internal and external customers across a diverse range of service functions in line with legislation, regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Respond to various correspondence and manage incoming and outgoing information.
- Liaise and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including managers, employees, and members of the public, ensuring effective communication and information links are maintained.
- Support statutory meetings, including the accurate and speedy recording of decisions directly onto electronic forms and templates using mobile IT devices.
- Take minutes in meetings
- Organise and coordinate meetings, diaries, and appointments, ensuring schedules and venues are appropriate for attendees.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience working within a business support environment.
- Experience working in administration within a social care setting, ideally children's social care.
- Minute taking in meetings
- Proven experience handling highly confidential and sensitive information.
- Proficient in servicing meetings and minute-taking directly onto mobile devices with speed and accuracy.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and other computer-based systems.
- Understanding of information governance, data protection, health & safety, and risk management.
