Job Description :

We’re looking for a proactive and highly organised Business Support Manager to coordinate and oversee operations for our client, a well-established and respected business based in Newbury. You’ll play a vital role in supporting smooth daily operations and ensuring the company continues to deliver an exceptional service to clients across England and Wales.

As a Business Support Manager, you’ll lead a small and dedicated team, streamlining processes, maintaining compliance and developing efficient internal systems that support both strategic growth and high-quality service delivery. This is a hands-on leadership role that will see you managing cross-functional workflows while supporting Directors with key business planning and operational decisions.

The Business Support Manager position offers a salary of up to £50,000 depending on experience. You’ll work full-time, Monday to Friday. If you thrive in a fast-paced setting and have a background in business operations, team leadership and administration, we’d love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations across admin, finance, customer service and office functions.
  • Lead and develop admin and finance staff, ensuring clear goals and team performance. Improve internal systems, policies and workflows to drive efficiency and compliance.
  • Coordinate and monitor invoicing, budgets and financial reporting.
  • Manage marketing activity including website updates and brand alignment.
  • Act as a key point of escalation for internal support issues and operational queries.
  • Support Directors with planning and implementation of business initiatives.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and effective handling of client queries.
  • Maintain industry compliance and quality assurance standards.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience in operations, office or business support management.
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • Confident communicator and effective leader with team management experience.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Previous exposure to compliance or process improvement.
  • Desirable: experience in building surveying, property or professional services.
