Reed Education is seeking a dynamic Business Studies Teacher to join a secondary school in the Lancaster area on a permanent basis, starting immediately. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of the business studies curriculum, effective communication skills, and a dedication to creating an engaging learning environment.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Planning and delivering Business Studies lessons to students at KS3 and KS4 levels; experience with KS5 would be an advantage.
• Assessing student progress and providing constructive feedback to encourage development.
• Maintaining a stimulating classroom environment that fosters learning and student engagement.
• Ensuring compliance with school policies and safeguarding measures.
• Collaborating with other teaching staff to enhance the educational experience of students.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Must have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Recent relevant experience teaching Business Studies at KS3 and KS4; experience at KS5 is an advantage.
• Strong classroom management skills and subject knowledge.
• Reliable, committed, and capable of being a good role model with qualities of compassion, trustworthiness, politeness, and good listening skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills; must be trustworthy, punctual, patient, and confident when working with children.
