A leading platform on the front foot, gaining market share and expanding. They have extensive coverage across both white and blue collar services, as well as extending to other fields such as Healthcare Services.

In this capacity you will support the origination and execution of investment banking scenarios with the UK and pan-European Business Services space. This team offers detailed involvement in all stages of the transaction process, as well as client interaction (and is keen to recruit someone with the acumen and commercial nous to progress to D and MD as they develop.

Key tasks

• Execution of on-going deals within the group, e.g. M&A transactions (primarily), also Financing, Capital Markets etc
• Supporting senior bankers delivering strategic advice to clients

– Strategic idea generation

– Preparation of pitch book and discussion materials

– Data analysis

– Modelling (operating models, capital models, merger models, LBO, etc.)

Requirements:

• A proven background in Investment banking along with relevant transactional experience - Business Services sector experience is advantageous
• Excellent financial modelling experience (operating models, merger models, LBO, etc )
• Experience in buy-side and sell-side M&A
• Project management
• Strong communications skills: ability to interact confidently with banking professionals and clients
• Outstanding analytical skills
• Team work
