Business Manager - HB Partners Ltd : Job Details

A multi academy trust is seeking a highly skilled, motivated Business Manager to join one of its schools based in Oxford. This is a key strategic role providing essential support to the Headteacher, Senior Leadership Team and Governing Body to help drive forward the school’s educational mission.

You will be responsible for leading on school finance, HR, Health & Safety, and site management, while overseeing their support services and operational teams.

Key Responsibilities of the Business Manager include:

• Strategic planning and budget management
• Oversight of HR processes, recruitment, and staff development
• Line management of admin staff, Site Manager, and childcare lead
• Facilities and site management, including contracts, procurement, and lettings
• Health & Safety compliance
• Leading on GDPR and data protection compliance
• Supporting governance and reporting
