Business Management Lecturer - BA Business Management

Location: LondonContract Type: PermanentWorking Hours: Full time with some evenings and weekendsSalary: £42000-£50000p/a

We are seeking a dedicated Business Management Lecturer to join our team, delivering the BA Business Management degree. This role is pivotal in creating holistic approaches to teaching and learning within the business specialist area, ensuring that the experiences delivered will progress and retain students. The successful candidate will have an impeccable track record in delivering student success and strong industry links that will enhance the blended nature of delivery on the Business Management course.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Liaise directly with the subject lead to deliver the current and newly validated curriculum and all areas of learning, teaching, and assessment on the BA Business Management degree.
• Engage in research and/or professional practice to increase subject, practice, and pedagogic awareness.
• Attract, recruit, and teach students in Business and contribute to extra-curricular activities, such as delivery of staff development programmes and other cross-College initiatives.
• Focus on key subject-specific disciplines within the Business degree and be responsible for the design, development, and delivery of the modules linked to these disciplines.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Relevant BA and postgraduate qualification or equivalent professional experience.
• Fellowship (or Higher) of the Higher Education Academy.
• Teaching qualification (PG Cert or equivalent) is desirable.
• Demonstrable teaching record of innovation and success in the classroom across all levels, programme design, creation of teaching materials, and discipline expertise.
• Strong ability to engage in research and/or professional practice/enterprise in subject-specific territories.
