Due to expansion we are now seeking a highly organised and proactive Business Development Representative to join our team in Harrietsham, Kent
This full-time, office-based role is designed to support the Business Development team in their outreach and engagement activities. The successful candidate will play a central role in cold calling prospective clients, supporting diary coordination, ensuring sales trackers are maintained accurately, and assisting with reporting.
- Initiate outbound calls to prospective clients to introduce Diphex, qualify interest, and arrange meetings for Business Development Managers.
- Assist the Business Development team by coordinating and scheduling appointments, managing meeting requests, and supporting calendar planning to maximise productivity.
- Update and maintain the client relationship management (CRM) system, ensuring all records are accurate and reflect current activity, interactions, and next steps.
- Support internal communication across departments by ensuring follow-ups and handovers are actioned, particularly in relation to sales activity and pipeline progress.
- Work alongside the National Business Development Manager to ensure sales trackers are kept up to date and assist in preparing reports for internal meetings and management reviews.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Previous experience in a lead generation and sales outreach role is a must.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and confidence in engaging with prospects over the phone and email.
- Excellent organisational abilities and a high level of attention to detail.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (particularly Excel and Outlook); experience with CRM systems is advantageous.
- A collaborative approach with a clear focus on supporting the wider team.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
