The business is on an exciting growth journey and as they scale are looking for a driven Business Development Manager to lead on outbound activity. With double digit YoY and glowing feedback from residential and commercial customers, they’ve grown fast and only just getting started.

This role is perfect for someone who thrives on opening doors, has a confident, consultative sales approach, and is motivated by turning strategy and persistence into results.

  • Competitive base salary of circa £40,000-£45,000

The Role

This is your chance to drive sales growth and lead outbound activity. This role is all about creating opportunities, building lasting relationships with schools, councils, architects, and commercial clients.

  • Lead outbound sales efforts – research, identify, and approach new commercial opportunities.
  • Build and manage a pipeline of qualified prospects, with consistent follow-up to drive conversions.
  • Develop and nurture relationships with schools, councils, contractors, and architects.
  • Collaborate with Sales Executives and Designers to deliver proposals and secure projects.
  • Represent Home Front at trade shows, networking events, and client meetings.
  • Report on pipeline activity, forecasts, and conversion rates to the Head of Sales.

What We’re Looking for:

  • Proven success in B2B sales, ideally in playground equipment, construction, landscaping, or a related sector.
  • A proactive, target-driven “hunter” mentality with resilience and determination.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence decision-makers.
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple opportunities at different stages.
  • Confidence using CRM systems (Zoho experience advantageous).
  • A genuine passion for outdoor play, education, and making a lasting impact.
