Business Development Manager - JAMES GEORGE RECRUITMENT LIMITED : Job Details

James George Recruitment has partnered with a Tier 1 Asset Finance House that is looking to add 3 additional members of staff to their Technology Finance team in Southern England. They are looking for 1 External BDM in a role that will be field based with regular travel to Vendors across the Southern England. Our Client would also like to add 2 Internal Account Managers to their Tech Finance team. These individuals will be predominantly office based in Hertfordshire where you would be joining a dynamic and high performing team where there will be fantastic career progression opportunities.

Key Responsibilities will include:

• Both levels of role will require you to build and strengthen Inactive or underperforming Tech Resellers as well as maintaining relationships with existing, successful Reseller accounts.
• Achievement of sales revenue targets through new business sales
• The entire sales process from start to close, ensuring that the process is managed effectively
• Establish unique solutions, including new product lines so that the opportunity provides the company with a competitive advantage over other finance solutions.
• To negotiate new opportunities and work with all applicable internal Functions to ensure the opportunities meet business needs.
• Negotiate terms of proposal, prepare documentation in line with agreed procedures and submit for approval

The ideal candidates will already have some sales experience gained in a B2B environment. Any experience of arranging finance for technology assets would be a strong advantage but out Client is more interested in a candidate’s attitude and ability to pick up new skills quickly. You will have the tenacity required to build long term relationships with the appreciation that some of these deals can take some time to unlock.
