This position is crucial for maximising sales, profitability and account penetration by fostering strong customer partnerships and promoting a comprehensive portfolio, including innovative digital solutions. You will act as a trusted advisor, delivering value beyond the product through insight, education and a deep understanding of customer business objectives.
Day-to-day duties of the role:
- Strategic Sales & Territory Management: Drive growth through targeted acquisition, retention, and development strategies using CRM tools. Create and execute plans that align with broader commercial goals and manage the sales pipeline effectively.
- Customer Growth & Account Development: Serve as a strategic business partner to both existing and prospective customers, identifying growth opportunities and tailoring commercial proposals to meet clinical and business needs.
- Customer Education & Market Engagement: Conduct engaging product and business education sessions, both in-person and digitally. Position the brand as a thought leader by educating on clinical pathways, digital workflows, and practice success.
- Digital & Portfolio Expansion: Promote a full portfolio including digital solutions and services. Demonstrate a deep understanding of company products and employ consultative selling approaches.
- Market & Competitor Intelligence: Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor movements. Translate insights into value-added conversations and business recommendations.
- Reporting & Data Utilisation: Utilise data to inform decision-making, identify trends and enhance territory performance. Maintain accurate reporting in CRM systems.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in sales, customer development or business consulting. Industry experience not essential, full training will be provided
- Background in dental, healthcare or medical device sectors is advantageous.
- Strategic thinker with strong consultative selling skills.
- Excellent verbal, written, and digital communication abilities.
- Proficient in presentation and facilitation.
- Commercial and clinical business acumen.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity, prioritise, and thrive under pressure.
- Social media savvy and digitally literate.
- Familiarity with CRM systems, data analysis, and digital platforms.
