Role Overview:

We are seeking a Business Development Manager to join our team and play a vital role in identifying and securing new business opportunities within the energy procurement sector. This role offers the chance to work in a fast-paced environment, engage with potential clients face-to-face, and contribute to the growth of our business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prospecting: Conduct door-to-door visits to potential clients within a designated geographical region to uncover sales opportunities.
- Lead Qualification: Gather information about potential clients' energy needs, procurement processes, and current suppliers to qualify leads.
- Relationship Building: Build rapport with potential clients and identify key decision-makers within their organisations.
- Sales Presentations: Provide information about our energy procurement services and solutions to generate interest and set up appointments for further discussions.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of interactions and follow-up activities within our CRM system.
- Market Insights: Stay informed about developments in the energy market and contribute insights to clients based on market trends and factors.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Experience: Previous experience in field sales, preferably within the energy sector.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills and a confident, professional demeanour.
- Rapport Building: Ability to quickly build rapport with potential clients and uncover their needs and pain points.
- Organisation: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Self-Motivation: Self-motivated with a proactive approach to generating leads and meeting targets.
