We are seeking a proactive and dynamic Business Development Manager for our successful and busy operation. This role is ideal for a sales professional who is ready to maintain and expand client relationships and ensure the growth of our operations across the UK, and abroad.

• Maintain commercial relationships with the existing client base and develop new business from customers based in the UK as well as overseas
• Conduct face-to-face visits with customers throughout the UK and the Channel Islands, requiring regular travel.
• Work closely with operational teams to align sales strategies with operational capabilities.
• Focus on winning new business and working towards agreed budget targets in line with the company's growth strategy.
• Strengthen market position by locating, developing, defining, promoting, negotiating, and securing new business opportunities.

• Minimum of 5 years' commercial sales experience, preferably in international groupage services or UK domestic distribution.
• Strong understanding of the international groupage market or UK domestic distribution.
• Proven business development skills and relationship building capabilities.
• Ability to independently plan and execute strategies with minimal supervision.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent interpersonal, administration, and negotiation skills.
• A valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively.
