Business Development Manager - Red King Resourcing : Job Details

My manufacturing client are looking for a Sales Manager to join them on a permanent basis. This role will be an individual contributor role for the South of England (Birmingham downwards)

You will initially start by working closely with the current Managing Director who is still on the tools himself. For your first 6-12 months you won't be given any targets, you will be learning their products, shadowing the MD and getting your feet under the table.

Initial training will be done remotely but you will need to travel in Manchester for 2 weeks of face to face training within your first few months.

You will take over any existing accounts in the South, but will also be expected to spin the business development plate. You will need to take accountability for your own days, booking in and attending clients meetings.

There will be internal progression on offer with this role in to a managerial position in the next few years.

They are looking for someone who is charismatic and can build relationships, a self starter who is motivated to earn money. They are open in regards to what industry you come from.
