Hours: 8:30am to 5:00pm (Fully office based)

Our client has a fantastic opportunity for a hungry and ambitious Business Development Manager to join their expanding team.

They are looking for someone who has a Financial or Recruitment background and you will have sole charge of exceeding Sales through the generation of your very own client base and growing your network (full training is provided), you will also be picking up exisiting accounts and carrying on professional relationships here.

With a healthy working environment and warm culture our client is very much involved in the day to day running of the Business Development team.

You will drive sales through lead generation and speaking to the relevant parties, building and maintaining meaningful relationships to be the solution for your clients.

There is lots of free parking, easy public transport links and you will be working in an open planned office amongst the other areas of the business, it is not a corporate environment and generally a great place to work!

Duties and responsibilities will include but not limited to:

• Maintain all company documents and records, ensuring all is fully compliant, kept secure and up to date.
• Attend and hold face to face / virtual meetings where appropriate
• Lead generation through outbound calls to new and prospective clients, proactively searching and following up in a timely manner through your network.
• Accurate use of Salesforce and ensuring all activity is logged in an efficient manner.
• Prioritise personal sales activity and achieve agreed business aims and targets.

Essential skills:

• Proficiency with MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. CRM Systems - SalesForce)
• Local to Watford and able to travel by public transport / Car
