We are looking for a Business Development Manager to join a growing energy brokerage. 

As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for the whole 360 sales cycle. You will generate leads, negotiate and close business contract. You will guide businesses through the complexities of energy procurement, offering solutions that ensure cost efficiency and sustainability. To be successful in this role you will need, a minimum of 3 years? experience in B2B sales within the energy industry, be knowledgeable about energy market trends, and have exceptional communication and negotiation skills. Key responsibilities:

  • Drive new business development, focusing on core services like market triggers and flexible energy procurement.
  • Consult with clients to develop bespoke energy solutions, aligning with their sustainability and financial goals.
  • Utilise advanced market analysis tools to inform strategic purchasing decisions and offer competitive energy contracts.
  • Present sales reports and realistic forecasts to the management team

Skills and experience required: 

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience B2B sales within the energy/ utility industry
  • Track record of achieving high numbers sales and of achieving weekly/monthly targets
  • Positive and can-do attitude
  • Able to identify and develop strong relationships with prospective customers 
  • Strong interpersonal communication and networking skills
  • Excellent influencing, listening, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Well organised and able to make to make decisions under pressure
  • Great understanding of energy procurement strategies.
  • Knowledgeable about the latest trends in energy markets, including sustainability practices and technological innovations in energy management.
  • Exceptional communication and analytical skills, capable of nurturing client relationships and achieving business growth.
  • Self-motivated, with drive, persuasiveness and tenacity
