Business Development Manager (Furniture/Cabinetry)

£45,000 - £55,000 + Progression + Training + Overtime + Pension

Are you a Business Development Manager or similar with previous experience in Kitchen Sales, and a background in the Furniture/Joinery/Carpentry Industry or similar, looking to join a steadily-growing, highly-respected, family run business, producing premium quality furniture since the 70's?

In this role, you will be responsible for the growth of the Commercial/Contract side of the business, with involvement in all phases. You will be responsible for generating new business leads through cold calls etc… whilst still maintaining repeat clients. Your role will also involve some aspects of Project Management, ultimately overseeing projects from initial conception through to completion, including, but not limited to, producing tenders, completing both site surveys and visits etc… Finally, you will be responsible for both customer and client liaison, as well as interdepartmental and third-party liaison.

The ideal Business Development Manager or similar will have previous experience within Business Development/Sales role or similar. You will also have a background within the Furniture/Carpentry/Joinery Industry or similar. Finally, you will hold a full, valid, diver's license.

• Grow the Commercial/Contract side of the Business
• Oversight of Projects
• Customer and Client liaison

The Person:

• Previous experience in a BDM/Sales role
• Background in the Furniture/carpentry/joinery industry or similar
• Holds a full, valid driver's license
