Business Development Manager (Estimating)

£45,000 - £62,000 + Yearly Bonus + Personal Bonus + Progression + Flexible Working Hours Taunton

This is the ideal role for someone who combines technical knowledge of glazing systems with commercial acumen, and who thrives in a role that blends estimating, business development, and client relationship management.

The Role

• Prepare high-quality, competitive tenders and proposals.
• Model and cost aluminium glazing systems using LogiKal software.
• Interpret architectural drawings and conduct accurate quantity take-offs.
• Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors for competitive terms.
• Maintain strong client communication throughout the tender process.
• Lead internal tender reviews and project handovers.

The Person

• Proven experience in estimating within the aluminium glazing sector (desirable but not essential).
• Knowledge of glazing systems and tendering processes.
• Proficiency in LogiKal (preferred), Excel, and other estimating tools.
