Business Development Executive - SaaS / Software Sales

The OpportunityA growing UK-based software and SaaS company is looking for a proactive Business Development Executive to join its collaborative and ethical sales team. Key ResponsibilitiesIdentify and engage with new business opportunities across the mid-market and enterprise space
Qualify inbound marketing and technical leads and book meetings for Account Managers
Generate outbound leads via phone, email, LinkedIn and campaign activity
Build prospect lists by sector using LinkedIn Sales Navigator
Maintain accurate CRM records and support sales forecasting
Collaborate with resellers, partners and internal departments to drive sales
Represent the company at industry events, online groups, and partner site visits
Stay up to date with trends in secure file transfer, SaaS, and workflow automation
Contribute to marketing campaign success through timely lead follow-up and feedback
2-5 years of experience in B2B business development or sales, ideally in a SaaS, software, or IT environment
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
Comfortable with outbound prospecting and lead generation
CRM experience (e.g. Salesforce, HubSpot); LinkedIn Sales Navigator experience is a plus
Self-motivated, results-driven, and a collaborative team player
A passion for delivering value to clients and helping them solve complex business challenges
Competitive base salary up to £37,000 (DOE)
OTE up to £45k commission scheme.
