Our client is one of the largest and most successful estate agency and property services providers in the UK. They are currently recruiting for a Business Development Executive to join the corporate residential services team, who offer portfolio management services for large-scale landlords.

Your role will be to increase the number of new and existing corporate and large-scale private landlords serviced through their corporate department. There is flexibility on location, as the position will be mostly home working, but with a requirement to travel nationally for client meetings, branch visits, and internal meetings. Key responsibilities will include:

• Maintaining and updating the business development database of clients, regularly following up to set up opportunities and progressing business to completion• Attending regular area meetings within the company network to promote corporate services and encourage leads for new and existing business• Daily contact with branch managers from their network to discuss their corporate services and encourage leads for new and existing business• Monitoring trade press, web portals, subscription services, to source a pipeline of target corporate client• Attending meetings with potential and current clients in order to pitch their services• Preparing and submitting client proposals• Submitting detailed information to the business development manager for each new business deal• Preparing draft client contracts and obtaining correct AML/KYC documents.

Personal specification:

• A sound knowledge and experience in the residential lettings market• Previous business development or target driven sales experience• The role would suit a self-starting individual who is comfortable working autonomously for reasonable periods - with the potential to move into a more senior role as headcount grows• Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Powerpoint• Ability to engage with internal group stakeholders and external stakeholders at all levels • Full clean UK driving licence.

The package on offer for this role will include a basic salary of £30,000 to £35,000, plus realistic on target earnings in the region of £45,000.

This is a Monday to Friday role. NO WEEKENDS! REMOTE WORKING.
