Business Development Executive - UBT : Job Details

We are currently looking to appoint an enthusiastic and driven Business Development Executive to join a well established, family-run SME Business based in Chesterfield. The role will be responsible for making outbound calls to enhance to companies presence within the marketplace, whilst also following up on sales enquiries and making appointments.

This role is ideally suited to someone with experience in telephone based sales within a B2B environment.

As Business Development Executive key responsibilities will include...

• Making professional outgoing telesales calls to qualified prospects and major accounts that need development
• Cleansing the HubSpot CRM system and updating customer/prospect information at all times.
• Build relationships with clients to identify sales opportunities, gain new business and reactivate gone away customers.
• Gain a thorough understanding/knowledge of our product ranges in order to discuss intelligently with customers/prospects to influence them to purchase based on their specific needs or requirements.
• Liaise with the internal sales team to generate quotations and respond to customer enquiries in a timely manner.
• Keep relevant notes/call records in the HubSpot CRM system so that all correspondence can be referred to and understood at any given time.

• Proven experience as telesales/telephone based sales role
• Proven track record of successfully meeting KPI’s over the phone.
• Working knowledge of relevant computer programs (e.g., CRM software) and telephone systems.
• Excellent communication skills
• Persistent and results-oriented.
• Patient and able to handle customer rejection.
• Ability to influence.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Strong teamworking skills.

Hours: Monday to Friday 8.00am - 4.45pm.

• Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 (DOE)
