The team at NET Recruit are supporting a business in the educational sector that is seeking a Business Development Coordinator, with exposure to the private education sector, to join the team in Leighton Buzzard. You RoleWhile in this position your duties may include but are not limited to:
- Support the Business Development team by conducting initial outreach to prospective clients via phone, email, and LinkedIn
- Schedule and coordinate follow-up meetings, visits, and communications with potential clients
- Prepare and send follow-up correspondence, including emails, letters, and supporting materials
- Manage and maintain prospect databases and mailing lists for targeted campaigns
- Assist in the planning and delivery of postal and digital marketing campaigns
- Research and identify new business opportunities using online tools and company systems
- Provide logistical and administrative support for exhibitions, events, and client meetings

- Charistmatic, hungry and enjoy building relationships via the phone and in person
- Comfortable with cold-calling
- Some experience within a business development or sales capacity
- Results driven and resourceful
- Good IT skills, particularly in using Microsoft Office, online tools such as social media and also AI
- Ideally exposure to the private education sector
Your Opportunity:As a business that is focussed on providing expert services for many educational establishments, in areas such as construction and interior design, this is a highly successful organisation that is embarking on an exciting growth period. This role will sit within the Marketing & Business Development team and provide hands on support to senior members of the team, supporting the business development managers in their outreach and relationship building, alongside handling prospecting and outreach directly.A fantastic starting salary of up to £40,000 will be available as well as an enticing peripheral package including a very generous bonus scheme and the option for company profit shares. Additionally, there will also be a good holiday allowance, pension contribution and opportunity for further work benefits and monetary incentives. This role can also be worked in a hybrid manner, upon the completion of a probationary period.
