The Salary for this role is £44,199 - £56,113

This role will be based at either our Nottingham or Coventry site. Travel and overnight stays to other sites may be required occasionally. This is a 1 year Fixed Term contract.

The Installation Services business is at the forefront of providing solutions to residential customers. This means that we are continually going through a constant process of significant change. As Business Change lead you will be responsible for the implementation of the system changes that will enable us to bring realisation to our vision and strategy of achieving Net Zero.

Working closely with our Product Owners, Digital Technology Team and Infosys, you will be responsible for ensuring that all parties who use any of our systems are fully engaged with the implementation of any change, delivering through training and development interventions. This is a position that gets you right into the heart of what we do and how we do with a huge opportunity to influence of systems and processes.

Responsibilities include

  • Create, develop and deliver individual training plans in alignment with system change plans.
  • Creation of business processes to enable operational efficiency and service excellence.
  • Provide governance and coordination for all business readiness requirements prior to system changes go live.
  • Help to drive greater compliance and data quality through system improvements and ensuring all stakeholders are regularly updated and always align to FCA, MCS and GDPR standards.
  • Ensure successful delivery of change by engaging operational teams, working with the change lead to create a robust change readiness plan for all system developments.
  • Support the Product Owner with testing all system changes and train users in a tailored approach against different learning standards.
  • Understand the Mi requirements of stakeholders, utilising Snowflake and Power Bi.
  • Engage with third party system providers such as Core Logic, Zing, Midsummer and Infosys.
  • Identifying improvements and making recommendations for system changes to the Product Owner
  • Provide operational insight to enable challenging of requirements that you see as not suitable.
  • Ability to undertake a full end to end training needs analysis of the installation business and offer solutions.
  • Build and maintain cross functional relationships to coordinate change across business units and ensure best practice is shared.
  • Display an understanding of the business context and the backdrop against which the operation delivers against the business plan and wider business goals and objectives.
  • Supports and challenges change planning and scheduling to mitigate risk to overall Business benefit/outcome achievement with the Proposition and Operation teams.
  • Ensure all your actions and behaviours treat our customers fairly and comply with regulations.
  • Act as a role model to demonstrate best practise to teams and sections.
  • Assist all business streams in improving the ways that we work to improve our service, ensuring that we are customer obsessive.

What we need from you

Essential

  • Educated to higher education level or equivalent.
  • Strong understanding of change principles with extensive experience of delivering change and business readiness.
  • Experience of identifying and delivering change to an organisation, focussed on the customer experience.
  • Understanding of the full end to end training cycle.
  • Able to deliver high-quality training, support and challenge others throughout the lifecycle of each initiative.
  • Ability to create a culture of improvement and development.
  • Strong relationship building skills with the ability to influence and work effectively across functional boundaries.
  • Demonstratable influencing skills - recognised as been being highly credible within the business to bring about desired results.
  • Ability to communicate complex material to a wide range of audiences, such that recommendations are accepted and acted upon.
  • Ability to plan and organise multiple tasks and activities in a timely and effective manner.
  • Flexible and able to travel to other sites for variable lengths of time, with occasional working away from home.

Desirable

  • In depth knowledge of the energy market and how the carbon neutral agenda is affecting Energy Efficiency market and customers’ homes.
  • Proficient in the use of SharePoint, Excel, MS Project, PowerPoint.
  • Able to articulate and visualise concepts and ideas.
