Business Administrator NorthamptonMon–Thurs: 9am–5pm | Fri: 9am–4:30pmCirca £25kOur client in the build industry is looking for a proactive and forward-thinking business administrator to join their team in Northampton. This would suit someone that is dynamic and fluid that understands the importance of prioritsing tasks. Key Duties:
- Coordinate and monitor supply chain operations (inbound and outbound logistics)
- Liaise with suppliers, transport companies, and internal teams to ensure timely deliveries
- Maintain accurate shipping, receiving, and inventory records & prepare documentation (invoices, packing lists, customs forms)
- Resolve any delivery or logistics issues
- Provide administrative support across departments (procurement, finance, HR, operations)
- Manage and organise business documentation, reports, and records
- Handle data entry, filing, and internal communication tasks
- Schedule meetings, take minutes, and support office operations
- Support senior management with reporting and coordination as required
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience in logistics coordination or administrative support
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); ERP systems is a plus
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Attention to detail and problem-solving mindset
- Knowledge of logistics regulations and documentation is a strong advantage
