BUSINESS ANALYST

£500 - £550 PER DAY OUTSIDE IR35

READING (2 DAYS IN THE OFFICE PER WEEK)

THE COMPANY:

A leading market research company is looking for a Business Analyst to support with the documentation of a fraud detection software product.

THE ROLE:

As a Business Analyst, your key responsibilities will include:

• Reverse engineering the software product to understand functionality, logic, and decision-making processes.
• Creating clear, structured documentation from scratch.
• Explaining to stakeholders how the system works.
• Collaborating with Software Engineers and Data Scientists to understand the technical components.
• Defining and implementing documentation standards, templates, and processes.
• Maintaining and updating Confluence pages and breaking down tasks in Jira.

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst working closely with Software Engineers and Data Scientists.
• Background in a fraud-sensitive environment.
• Ability to operate in ambiguous environments, building structure from a blank slate.
• Experience using Jira and Confluence.
• Market research industry experience is a nice to have, but not essential.
