A successful medium-sized construction consultancy is currently seeking a Building Surveyor to strengthen their Manchester team.

The Building Surveyor role

The successful Building Surveyor will engage with a diverse project portfolio across a range of sectors, including commercial, industrial, hotel & leisure, public, education, heritage, and retail.

With a particular focus on professional services such as dilapidations and technical due diligence (TDD), this position offers a rich landscape for professional development and contribution.

The Building Surveyor will play a pivotal role in managing and executing projects, ensuring high-quality outcomes for clients across various markets.

The Building Surveyor

• A degree in Building Surveying or a related field, establishing a strong foundation of knowledge and skills relevant to the profession.
• Experience in delivering professional surveying services, particularly in areas such as dilapidations and technical due diligence, within a consultancy environment.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of building and maintaining strong client relationships.
• A proactive approach to work, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring efficiency and high standards of service delivery.
• A commitment to professional growth, with aspirations to further develop expertise across various sectors and services.
• MRICS qualification is advantageous but not essential, especially for candidates actively working towards this professional recognition.
