This role offers an exceptional blend of challenges and opportunities, catering to a wide array of projects primarily across the Midlands and surrounding areas, including insurance work, predominantly in residential and commercial buildings of all construction types.

The Building Surveyor role

The successful Building Surveyor will play a pivotal role in supporting the Surveying team, demonstrating an ability to manage a diverse workload while delivering high-quality outcomes on every project.

This position is not just about contributing to the team; it's about leading by example, handling projects within your own level of authority, and providing mentorship and guidance to junior team members.

The Building Surveyor will be integral in:

• Leading and managing a range of building surveying projects, ensuring quality and efficiency.
• Providing expert advice on various aspects of property and construction.
• Actively mentoring junior surveyors, particularly in their APC process, fostering their professional growth.
• Contributing to business development and sustaining client relationships.
• Demonstrating leadership qualities and playing a key role in team development.

The Building Surveyor

• MRICS qualification or working towards it, demonstrating a commitment to professional excellence.
• Experience in handling a diverse range of projects, including insurance work in residential and commercial sectors.
• Exceptional project management skills, with a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
• Strong communication and leadership skills, able to mentor junior team members and maintain client relationships.
• A commercially minded and market-focused approach, with the ability to identify opportunities and generate business.
