Position 1: London and the M25 Corridor
Position 2: Oxford and surrounding areas, including around and up to West London
Salary: Competitive – dependent on skills and experience
Hours: 41.25 hours per week, with opportunities for overtime

Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Building Services Engineer to carry out planned preventative maintenance, servicing, and repair works across a variety of contracts. This role requires a self-motivated engineer who can work independently, maintain high professional standards, and build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
Key Responsibilities
- Undertake planned preventative maintenance, servicing, and repair works across various contracts.
- Communicate effectively with clients, suppliers, and sub-contractors to ensure smooth operations.
- Liaise with internal helpdesk and administration teams for efficient job coordination.
- Respond to call-outs during normal working hours and participate in the out-of-hours emergency rota.
- Ensure punctual site attendance, wearing correct PPE, and maintaining a professional appearance.
- Accurately complete and submit service reports and job records.
- Maintain and update log books or other relevant documentation as required.
- Keep Contracts Managers informed on job progress and provide client updates where necessary.
Essential Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of M&E building services.
- Knowledge of HVAC plant including A/C, boilers, controls, heating/cooling systems, and ventilation.
- Understanding of Legionella and Health & Safety requirements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
- Strong organisational, communication, and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Qualifications
- City & Guilds in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Time-served mechanical/maintenance engineer (apprenticeship).
- Valid UK driving licence.
