Job Description :

Together Housing is one of the largest housing associations in the North of England, managing over 37,000 homes across the region. We are dedicated to providing safe and high-quality housing for our residents and ensuring their wellbeing.

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Builder to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for construction, maintenance, and repair works on our properties.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Undertaking construction and refurbishment works, including bricklaying, pointing, flagging and other general building works
  • Carrying out repairs and maintenance tasks on both tenanted and vacant properties
  • Working to specifications and quality standards and ensuring compliance with building regulations
  • Organizing and managing workload effectively to meet project deadlines
  • Ensuring a safe working environment and adhering to health and safety regulations
  • Collaborating with other team members and contractors to ensure smooth project delivery

The successful candidate will have:

  • Proven experience as a Builder, with expertise in various aspects of construction and building works
  • Good knowledge of building regulations and health and safety standards
  • Relevant qualifications in construction or a related field
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
