BROKER DEVELOPMENT MANAGER - SOUTH

Reporting to Head of Business Development

Role Purpose

The Broker Development Manager will be responsible for retention and growth of existing key clients in the south of the UK. Their focus will be in the Insurance Broker market to promote the company’s products and services. There will be a strong focus on developing existing relationships and supporting them to meet targets and growth ambitions.

Responsibilities

  • Managing relationships with defined key broker partners to ensure there is an indepth knowledge of everything the company can offer.  
  • Delivery of sales, training and awareness presentations to brokers and other business partners to inspire them to grow with the company.
  • Troubleshooting service issues and taking responsibility from report through to satisfactory resolution. Our service is everything to us and what we have become known for.
  • Working in partnership with our Insurance Broker Partners to agree targets and regularly review performance against plan. Acting as a consultant to our customers to support them in winning and retaining business.
  • Supporting the business in the production of sales and marketing collateral to support our customers in client engagement.

The Candidate

  • Ideally the successful candidate will come from an insurance background in Underwriting, Broking or Claims
  • A good understanding of Management Liability or D&O insurance covers and risk features
  • Strong relationship management experience
  • Confident to present to an audience either face to face or via online platforms
