BRIDGING LOAN MANAGER
Location- London/ West End
Salary- 45-65Kpa, depending on experience
We are actively looking for an experienced Loan Servicing Manager WITH UK BRIDGING FINANCE EXPERIENCE to join a growing lender in the West End, London. The company is achieving a lot of success and has new funding, so they are focused on building their team of bridging/ development finance professionals.
As a small- medium sized business, this really is a role where you will get stuck into a wide-breadth position, utilising your arrears/ collections/ servicing experience and helping to create stringent best practices for clients.

SUMMARY
The Loan Manager is a key role within this lending business. Working within the Operations, this role is critical to managing successful relationships & outcomes with the lender’s borrowers. From loan completion, all the way through to redemption, the Loan Manager is involved in all aspects of loan servicing and being the day-to-day contact for the borrowers.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Liaising with borrowers, as required, via phone or email and occasionally in person.
- Keeping well written notes about all interactions with borrowers in our systems.
- Recording all cash receipts on the relevant loan records in our systems.
- Timely production and dispatch of all borrower correspondence such as instalment payment requests, redemption statements, and welcome letters.
- Monitoring of loan covenants.
- Instructing and monitoring third parties such as solicitors, receivers, valuers, and field agents where required.
- Production of internal portfolio reporting.
- Preparing loan extension requests and liaising between the borrower and underwriting.
- Establishing, proposing, and executing collections and recoveries strategies for delinquent borrowers.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
- 3 years or more within a servicing team focused on Bridging loans to individuals and companies.
- Organised with effective time management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and record keeping.
- Exceptional command of the English language, both in writing and speaking.
- Natural communicator and relationship builder.
- Outstanding numeracy skills, with the ability to manipulate numerical data with precision and accuracy.
- Strong IT skills and great working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of applications, particularly Excel.
