Blueprint Recruitment has a fantastic new opportunity for a seasoned Bridge Engineer to join a major multidisciplinary Engineering Consultancy, on a permanent basis in Glasgow.

Our client is offering the opportunity to work with a hardworking team of Engineers and Designers on Rail and Bridge projects.

As the selected candidate, you will play a key role in the design, analysis, and inspection of bridge structures, whilst providing technical expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and guide teams on tasks such as structural analysis, feasibility studies, tender designs and detailed designs
• Production of contract documents and technical reports
• Oversee bridge projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget
• Apply your knowledge of bridge Engineering principles and codes to develop efficient and innovative solutions
• Ensure that all bridge designs and analyses adhere to industry standards and safety regulations
• Undertake a technical lead role on a variety of bridge and structural related projects, ensuring the delivery of projects
• Interact with clients to understand project requirements, provide updates, and address their concerns.

Key Requirements:

• Chartered Engineer status or working towards
• Previous experience working on Bridge or Highways structures
• Excellent project management and leadership skills
• Degree qualified in Engineering or a relevant subject
• Must be sociable and willing to collaborate with the team
• Strong experience in Bridge Engineering
• Experience in Bridge analysis software
• Working knowledge of industry standards and codes
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to safety and quality in Engineering practices
