Brand Manager – Nescafé
Location: Gatwick (Hybrid 2-3 times a week)
Salary up to £45,000 depending on experience + potential bonus + generous pension scheme + 12 flexible days on top of 25 day holiday entitlement + 2 paid volunteering days + other fantastic benefits!
A day in the life of...
As a Brand Manager you will help define the strategy and build long-term plans for key parts of the NESCAFÉ soluble portfolio, leading key strategic projects, end to end. You will support the Senior Brand Manager to manage all elements of the marketing mix ensuring brand equities are maintained and accelerated throughout the activity we do whilst working closely with the Marketing Manager to achieve great results.
Key responsibilities of this role will include:
- Supporting the development of a clear brand strategy and three-year brand plans, ensuring all brand activities adhere to brand purpose & strategy.
- Delivering agreed sales, profit & share targets for the brands you support, working closely with our commercial teams.
- Developing a comprehensive understanding of UK Coffee category including media, trade, competition and consumer behaviour. Closely monitoring to identify marketing issues and opportunities, & ensure plans are maintained and adapted in a constantly changing, competitive FMCG environment.
- Developing strong data analytical skills to generate shopper & consumer insight and turn category strategy into actionable and executable initiatives.
- Supporting the development and implementation of marketing activity across all areas of the marketing mix, working collaboratively with external agencies where needed on elements such as media planning, advertising (covering all ATL media), digital (including social media platforms), consumer promotions, PR and sampling.
- Constantly evaluating the effectiveness of marketing programmes & brand performance, adjusting plans in line with learnings.
- Leading careful brand budget management of the PFME budgets.
