We are seeking a driven and experienced Branch & Sales Manager to lead our client's team at the Chelmsford branch. This role is crucial for ensuring the overall profitability and efficient operation of the branch, which includes parts, service, sales, and administration teams. As a Branch & Sales Manager, you will uphold the highest service standards for existing customers while actively seeking new business opportunities.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Oversee daily operations across various departments including parts, service, sales, and administration.
• Ensure the branch achieves its financial targets through effective management and sales strategies.
• Provide exceptional customer service, maintaining strong relationships with existing clients and establishing new ones.
• Lead and motivate the team to achieve and exceed their targets.
• Implement strategies to enhance productivity and efficiency within the branch.
• Handle operational challenges, making decisive and accountable decisions.
• Promote and represent the business, enhancing its presence and reputation in the industry.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience in managing a branch or similar environment, preferably within the Agricultural or Horticultural equipment sectors.
• Excellent customer service skills, both face-to-face and over the phone.
• Target-driven with a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to act quickly and decisively.
• Full driving licence.
• Excellent communication skills across all levels of an organisation.
• Analytical and methodical approach to problem-solving.
• Good IT skills and ability to handle confidential information discreetly.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and initiate improvements.
