Bookkeeping Associate Role

NC Associates is proud to be working with a leading firm of Chartered Accountants based in the centre of Chester. The business is ambitious, forward-thinking, and committed to delivering outstanding service as accountants, auditors, and advisers. They are now looking for a Bookkeeping Associate to join their growing Chester office.

Bookkeeping AssociateResponsibilities

• Bank analysis and reconciliation
• Sales ledger reconciliation and credit control
• Processing purchase ledger transactions
• WIP and billing administration
• Supporting external client bookkeeping services
• General practice admin and marketing support when needed

 Bookkeeping AssociateExperience Required

• Previous bookkeeping experience is essential, ideally supported by an AAT Level 2 qualification
• Highly organised, proactive and detail-driven
• Strong communication skills with a professional and approachable manner
• Confident with IT, especially Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
• Previous use of Xero, Sage or CCH is an advantage, but not essential
• Quick to pick up new systems and ways of working
