A privately owned, Certified Chartered accountancy firm situated in a picturesque rural location in the middle of Cambridgeshire. The firm has stood the test of time, providing clients with services to the level of quality rivalling that of larger and national firms.

The vacancy -

Reed Practice are privileged to have been engaged by the primary business owner to recruit an experienced Bookkeeper, a new role created due to their growth.

The position of Bookkeeper will involve, but not limited to -

• General bookkeeping for multiple clients
• Preparing and submitting VAT returns, working with HMRC and clients to resolve queries
• Balance sheet and bank reconciliations
• Payroll journals
• CIS returns

The applicant –

The role of Bookkeeper is as vital to the success of the business as any other role in the firm. And so, we seek only those with previous experience of bookkeeping in an accounting firm.

Ideally you will hold some form of qualification such at AAT, however if you can demonstrate considerable knowledge and experience in the same position in an accounting firm without being qualified, we would be happy to speak with you.

You will be well versed in accounting software such as Xero, Dext, Quickbooks and so on, extremely organised and time conscious, excellent communication and client relationship building skills, and have professional and positive outlook.

Due to the location of our clients’ office, you will need to hold a drivers’ licence and vehicle.  

Unfortunately our client is not registered to sponsor skilled workers therefore only those with no restrictions to work in the UK can apply.
