Temporary Bookkeeper Role - Planned Sickness Cover, Pudsey

Are you an experienced bookkeeper with a strong background in clerical accounting and a proficiency in Xero software? Robert Half is recruiting for a temporary Bookkeeper to provide coverage during a planned period of sickness. Based in Pudsey, the role offers a hybrid working model, with some work-from-home flexibility, and operates on a four-day work week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing payroll functions to ensure timely and accurate employee payment processing.
  • Maintaining and reconciling general ledger accounts.
  • Basic payroll for a small team
  • Processing accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
  • Preparing financial reports and supporting month-end.
  • Assisting with additional administration duties as required.

Key Details:

  • Location: Pudsey (hybrid working available).
  • Work Pattern: Four-day week.
  • Experience Requirements:
    • Proficiency in Xero accounting software is essential.
    • Solid clerical accounting experience, including ledger and payroll management.
