Bookkeeper Accountancy Practice | Sheffield, UKSalary: Competitive, based on experienceAre you a detail-oriented and experienced bookkeeper looking for a great role within this well-respected firm of chartered accountants? My client is a leading accountancy practice who is looking for someone to join their business services team handling a portfolio of clients. Key Responsibilities:Working in the business services team you will handle a portfolio of clients and be responsible for all aspects of bookkeeping on their behalf. .*Preparation of VAT returns on behalf of clients *Liaise with clients to obtain necessary documentation and resolve queries.*Support the team in preparing management accounts where required.*Ensure deadlines for VAT submissions are met and clients are kept informed.*Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of VAT rules and changes in legislation.What We're Looking For:*Proven bookkeeping experience, ideally within an accountancy practice, although applications are welcomed from individuals working in industry*Strong knowledge of VAT regulations and MTD requirements.*Proficient in accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, or similar.*Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.*Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.What We Offer:*Supportive and collaborative working environment*Opportunities for professional development*Competitive salary based on experience
