Bookkeeper – Uckfield – up to £29,000!Are you a meticulous and highly organised Bookkeeper with a passion for numbers and a keen eye for detail? Our client, a highly successful payroll services company are seeking a skilled and dedicated Bookkeeper due tocompany expansion, to join their friendly and active team.They are a well-established and respected provider of Bookkeeping services, helping businesses maintain accurate financial records and streamline their financial operations. As a Bookkeeper, you will play a vital role in ensuring client financial information is up to date, accurate, and in compliance with industry standards. Your expertise and commitment to excellence will make a significant impact on their clients' success.The role:

• Working with your own client portfolio, you will manage the day-to-day bookkeeping activities for multiple client accounts, including VAT returns, CIS, dealing with client enquiries, including site visits.
• Management of Sales and Purchase Ledgers for clients.
• You will also assist with Payroll duties as required, for annual leave cover etc.

The ideal person:

• 3-5 years experience in Bookkeeping
• Some payroll experience would be ideal, however not essential, if there is a willingness and ability to learn.
• Excellent keyboard skills and proficiency with Xero and Sage
• Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to multitask effectively.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• AAT qualifications would also be advantageous.
