Job Description :

Xpert Resourcing are seeking a team player with accounts experience to join the team as a Bookkeeper / Administrator.

As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and performing various accounting tasks. The ideal candidate will be able to prepare accounts up to trial balance and have experience with accounting software such as Sage, Xero and QuickBooks.

Duties will include:

  • Processing invoices, receipts, payments and expenses.
  • Completing VAT returns.
  • Dealing with bank and account reconciliations.
  • Managing client company ledgers and processing their monthly payrolls.
  • Management of client pension schemes, including employee assessments, auto-enrolment and contribution uploads.
  • Act as the point of contact for client customers and help to develop and build relationships.
  • Assist with day-to-day operational activities and support other team members where necessary.
  • Take a proactive role in managing and collecting the debts of clients’ customers, where necessary.

Experience / skills required:

  • Experience of office administration and accounting duties up to trial balance.
  • Good systems skills including Sage and ideally Xero and Quickbooks.
  • Team player with excellent service levels and skills.

Hours of work:

  • Monday to Friday (35 hours per week)
