- Salary - Between £25k - £30k depending on experience.
HRGO Recruitment are seeking an experienced Bookeeper to work in-house and remotely providing bookeeping, payroll, and admin services in a busy accountancy practice.
The practice is a friendly, relaxed and growing team that works with a varied portfolio of small and medium sized clients from professional consulting and charity sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- General bookkeeping for Sole Traders and Limited Companies.
- VAT preparation and returns
- Competent posting prepayments and accruals
- Preparing management accounts
- Processing clients payroll
- Completing CIS returns
- Providing general support to clients and the team
- Onboarding clients
- Dealing with HMRC as required by email and phone
Experience:
- Bookeeping: 3 years (required)
- Payroll: 1 year (required)
- Vat Returns: 1 year (required)
- Working in an Accountancy Practice: 1 year (required)
- You must have experience using cloud-based software, preferably Xero
