Well established construction company (small but multi £million) seek experienced bookkeeper to work in the office with the directors and administration team.
This is a friendly and professional company where the position has arisen as part of a succession plan towards a planned retirement. As such there will be a staged handover to aid business continuity. My client is looking for someone to ideally start after the summer in September but this is open to negotiation.
Details are classic using the sector specific cloud software that manages projects and has an in-built finance module. Due to the CIS element, construction or facilities management experience would be useful but is not essential. My client is looking for the right inter-personal fit, someone who is focused, friendly and has a positive solution orientated mindset.
You will own, monthly bookkeeping, VAT, CIS, payroll (for subbies and full time staff), banking, projects cost management, ledgers, cashflow management, system driven management accounts and working with the external accountants on 1/4rly and year end reporting.
