Biomedical Scientist - Histopathology BMS Band 6 - Atlantis Medical : Job Details

My client based in Greater Manchester is looking for an experienced Band 6 Histopathology Biomedical Scientist for a locum contract, starting as soon as possible.

Requirements:

• HCPC Registered as a Biomedical Scientist
• Experience in a Lab environment
• Good communication skills
• IBMS Specialist Diploma or equivalent in Cellular Pathology
• Knowledge and experience of Quality Management Systems in pathology
• Extensive knowledge of the work of a Histopathology Department
• Extensive post-registration experience in Histopathology
• A sound understanding of basic physiology, pathology and scientific principles relevant to Histopathology
• Good analytical skills
• Cellular pathology experience
• Evidence of CPD
