Billing Assistant - Edinburgh - Office Based - Full Time - Permanent
Valeco Recruitment is hiring a Billing Assistant on behalf of a professional legal firm in Edinburgh. This is a permanent role, offering full-time hours in a dynamic and collaborative finance team.
As part of the wider business support structure, you will play a key role in enabling fee earners to deliver excellent service to clients by managing accurate and timely billing processes.
Main duties include:
Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual fee notes and schedules
Supporting billing reviews and coordinating with fee earners
Carrying out a variety of administrative finance tasks
Helping train and support colleagues with billing procedures
Requirements:
Excellent attention to detail and process-focused mindset
Confident numeracy and strong IT skills, especially Excel
Previous billing or finance experience preferred
Legal or professional services sector experience advantageous but not essential
Positive communicator with a team-oriented approach
