An experienced Bid Writer required on a Permanent basis for a Leading Engineering based client based in Nottingham.

Duties of a Bid Writer include:

  • Assist the Pre-Construction Manager in developing a bid structure.
  • Lead and facilitate face to face storyboard session workshops.
  • Identify and re-work existing pre-written content where relevant.
  • Write / edit responses for bids, client presentations and sales collateral.
  • Co-ordinating all aspects of BID Writing.
  • Researching procurement opportunities.
  • Collecting information from relevant sources.
  • Communicating with external and internal stakeholders.
  • Supporting in all aspects of the BID process.

Key Skills:

  • Strong time management / prioritisation skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to work with minimum supervision.
  • Excellent communicator.
  • Strong written English language skills and wide vocabulary.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong team player.
  • Driver's license (due to potential UK based travel).

Qualifications of a Bid Writer:

  • Degree educated (ideally English) or equivalent.
  • Professional writing background.
  • Certified to APMP Foundation or Practitioner Level.
  • Salary £40- £45k dependent on experience.
  • 40 hours Per week.
