An experienced Bid Writer required on a Permanent basis for a Leading Engineering based client based in Nottingham.
Duties of a Bid Writer include:
- Assist the Pre-Construction Manager in developing a bid structure.
- Lead and facilitate face to face storyboard session workshops.
- Identify and re-work existing pre-written content where relevant.
- Write / edit responses for bids, client presentations and sales collateral.
- Co-ordinating all aspects of BID Writing.
- Researching procurement opportunities.
- Collecting information from relevant sources.
- Communicating with external and internal stakeholders.
- Supporting in all aspects of the BID process.
Key Skills:
- Strong time management / prioritisation skills.
- Self-motivated and able to work with minimum supervision.
- Excellent communicator.
- Strong written English language skills and wide vocabulary.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong team player.
- Driver's license (due to potential UK based travel).
Qualifications of a Bid Writer:
- Degree educated (ideally English) or equivalent.
- Professional writing background.
- Certified to APMP Foundation or Practitioner Level.
- Salary £40- £45k dependent on experience.
- 40 hours Per week.
