Job Description

Within this role as a Bid Manager you will be focussed on driving all areas of the bid process from initial enquiries through to supporting winning tenders.

You will be responsible for the bid writing and managing working with the management team, subject matter experts, bid coordinator and estimators to ensure tenders are delivered on time and to budget.

You will be required to develop the commercial approach to opportunities, presenting the companies USP’s to stand out within the bidding process.

Primarily you will be leading on the creation of work winning bids conveying the companies selling points, added value and full extent of services across a range of projects,

Leading the bid/no bid process from opportunity to delivery.

Within this role you will be required to chair meetings with the senior management team, internal colleagues to create quality content for bids on arrange of projects.

Agreed review of Commercial Documents associated with tenders such as NEC3 / ICE Terms and Conditions and recording and reporting of such reviews (training provided as required).

Desired Skills

Experience within a similar role as a Senior Bid Writer/Bid Manager.

Demonstrable experience preparing tenders for multiple projects simultaneously.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Excellent time management skills.

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft programmes.

Capable of working independently to deadlines as well as part of a team, with strong leadership and interpersonal skills.

Capable of forming supportive relationships with colleagues/senior management professionals within the business and clients.
